Why I’m Building My E-Commerce Store in Public
I’m building this store while showing every part of the process — the wins, the errors, and the behind-the-scenes chaos. And I’m doing it all in public.
Why?
Because I want this brand to be more than just a storefront. I want it to be a living case study. Something I can point to when someone asks, “What can you do with e-commerce, UX, and content?” Instead of just telling them — I show them.
It’s Not Always Pretty
Between fixing 290+ errors in Google Merchant Center, tweaking product mockups, and figuring out the perfect CTA, there’s been plenty of trial and error. But that’s kind of the point. Too many people only show the polished version — not the messy middle where the actual learning happens.
Why It Might Matter to You
If you’ve ever felt stuck because your project isn’t “perfect” yet — start anyway. Document what you’re building. Share what you’re learning. Even the mistakes.
You don’t need permission to create. You just need momentum.
